Executive Director, Wilson County CASA, Inc.
I met Mr. Keith Edmonds in December of 2014. During the first 5 minutes of meeting Keith, I knew he was making a change in my life.
That month was the first month of my new role as an Executive Director at Wilson County CASA. After reading one of Keith’s books and hearing his testimony about severe child abuse, I was able to connect to this new adventure.
For the next few months, I invited Keith to participate in speaking engagements on behalf of Wilson County CASA. His message is always touching and inspirational to all.
Keith has been given a talent to turn a terrible situation into a beautiful one. After people hear Keith speak they are touched by his message.

Keith delivered one of the most talked about keynotes to-date for the Children’s Justice Conference. His story is not only humbling but inspirational. His challenges and triumphs are a testimony to his survivor attitude. I highly recommend Keith Edmonds.

The luncheon was a success in no small part to the resonance and connection you made with the audience. A few of the comments we received were as follows:
“You and your team did an amazing job from start to finish…completely 1st class!! The experience of hearing Keith’s testimony and Doug’s personal message as well will leave me with some lasting memories of why the work that Kids First does is so critical. Very touching and special for all who were there!”
“What a great event!!” . . . .” “Keith’s message was sincere and heartfelt. I appreciated his ability to share his story of resilience – I was so happy to hear how he overcame his obstacles”.
“…hearing . . . Keith Edmunds really touched me today”
“Great event today!”. . . .”speakers were great”
The sincerity in which you delivered your story and the positive way you approach your recovery is an example for each of us. I was humbled and inspired by your call to action for others to share their experiences and open the door to talk about abuse and neglect.
